Addressing journalists on Monday (February 5, 2024) in Kampala as part of the World Cancer Month commemorations, experts from the Uganda Cancer Institute revealed significant progress in cancer treatment.
They confirmed the receipt of sh10 billion from the government, dedicated to accelerating the construction of a nuclear medicine facility. This facility will integrate innovative technologies tailored for treating cancer patients, marking a significant advancement in cancer care within the country.
